Description
Reimagining British tradition. The "Hybrid Balmacaan" blends practicality and elegance.Based on the "Balmacaan coat" born from Scotland's harsh climate, this coat incorporates iconic trench coat details. It's not just a reproduction of a classic; it's a garment that combines both a sense of gravitas and lightness.■ MaterialPecolamb Beaver (s100 raw material)We use "Pecolamb Beaver" made with high-quality Super 100's raw material by one of Japan's leading textile manufacturers. It achieves both a beautiful luster and surprising "lightness and warmth" the moment you pick it up. This is a high-quality MADE IN JAPAN material, woven in the Bishu region, Japan's largest woolen textile producing area, and dyed and finished in Bishu's dyeing factories. We intentionally chose Super 100's. This allows us to achieve both the heavy luster unique to beaver finishing, which cannot be expressed with extremely fine fibers like 110's or higher, and the durability for long-term use. Its characteristic is the "thick, luxurious feel" that you notice the moment you touch it.■ DesignThe greatest identity of this coat lies in the bold "storm shield (back yoke)" placed on the back.【Why is this flap necessary?】 Originally, this design, adopted for British military trench coats, had three roles essential for survival in harsh battlefields.Rain protection: Prevents raindrops from seeping in through the shoulder seams and directs them outwards like an umbrella.Breathability: Allows internal moisture to escape, preventing stuffiness even after long hours of wear.Durability: Reinforces the back and shoulders, which are subject to stress, providing strength for long-term use.The functional beauty honed in extreme conditions of "rain, wind, and mud" promises comfort and a powerful silhouette even in modern urban life.・Bold silhouette, free stylingRaglan sleeves & A-line: Raglan sleeves with smoothly dropping shoulder lines and a gently widening A-line. There's enough room to "throw it on" over thick knits or jackets, and you can enjoy the dramatic, swaying silhouette with every movement.Overwhelming length: The bold long length, covering well below the knee, completes the classic style."Withstanding rain, warding off wind, transcending time." The beauty born from function, with the finest materials. Your winter masterpiece.
